After many small modifications and fine-tuning, the presentation took place yesterday afternoon in a direct, friendly atmosphere under the shade of Laci’s great walnut tree.
Tamás Szőllősi—owner of Lemezdesign and Német-Magyar Lemezmegmunkáló—presented the prototype of the now-refined first series to László Árpás (the Sonkamester). This ham holder, envisioned by designer Renátó Árpás, serves simultaneously as a functional tool and a decorative object (oeuvre), blending classic and modern colors, shapes, and materials.

For a handcrafted creation produced in such a limited series, we felt that beyond simply displaying the partners’ logos, it was appropriate to create a wooden box that provides worthy storage and transport.
The box is crafted from plywood and features several exciting functions. On Laci’s personal piece, we included two slots; by inserting the engraved lid into these, the storage box is elevated into a representative display case.

As a sign of our collaboration and appreciation for each other’s work, an elegant plaque was also created, which will be held by an ornamental object originally designed as a vinyl record holder.

The introduction would not be complete without tasting the famous ham.
